Jockey Pumps

The LIFECO GMAX® Vertical Multistage Pumps are a multipurpose pump suitable for a variety of different applications demanding reliable and cost efficient supply.

Deluge Valves are critical components of industrial fire protection systems designed to provide immediate and high-volume water discharge in the event of a fire. Unlike traditional sprinkler valves, deluge valves control systems where all sprinklers or spray nozzles remain open at all times. When the valve is activated by a fire detection system—such as heat, smoke, or flame detectors—it releases water instantly to flood the entire protected area.

These valves are widely used in environments with a high risk of rapid fire spread, including oil and gas facilities, power generation plants, chemical processing plants, aircraft hangars, and transformer protection systems. Their fast response helps control fires before they escalate, minimizing damage to equipment and infrastructure.

Deluge valves operate using hydraulic, pneumatic, or electric actuation mechanisms and are typically connected to a detection and control panel. When a fire signal is received, the valve opens automatically, allowing water to flow through the piping network and discharge simultaneously from all open sprinklers or spray nozzles.

Manufactured from durable materials such as ductile iron or stainless steel, deluge valves are designed for reliability, corrosion resistance, and long service life. They are also built to comply with international fire protection standards to ensure dependable performance during emergency situations.

Key features often include easy maintenance, quick reset after operation, compatibility with various detection systems, and the ability to integrate with advanced fire suppression control systems. With their robust construction and rapid activation capability, deluge valves play an essential role in safeguarding industrial facilities and protecting lives and valuable assets.
